Kathy Noonan and I gave a demonstration on nest building. It was a rainy Saturday afternoon at the Blue Line Gallery in Roseville. The results were such intricate and beautiful sculptures.
The nests were fashioned from sticks, recycled cardboard, moss, feathers, and yarn.
Lynn Scholl, award winning Sacramento artist, brings her sculpting skills to garden design. She works with her clients' concepts to create lush one-of-a-kind sustainable, low water gardens. California natives and drought resistant plants, edibles, along with her use of recycled materials and custom sculptures are unique features in her designs. Lynn knows the construction process and best use of privacy screens, hand wrought iron work, garden gates, water features and masonry, sheds and shade structures. For the past eight years, Lynn has worked with an established affiliate of specialized artists in both the interior and landscape design network. What a beautiful idea- both in concept and execution! Thanks for sharing it.
